    Job Description

    The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families. The RN assesses patient need, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient’s episode. The Med/Surg RN develops specialized skill in the area of cardiac care including telemetry monitoring. The RN is accountable for patient family education to assist the patient and family in understanding self care beyond hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and healing. He/She promotes comfort and provides emotional support in a healing environment.

     

    Must be able to work 24 hours within a 4-week schedule, one shift must be on a weekend per 4-week schedule and one summer and winter holiday must be worked per calendar year.

     

    Per Diem Rate $49.25
