Summary:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishware, pots, and pans, and cooking utensils, etc., using a machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.

Responsibilities:

+ Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.

+ Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.

+ Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

+ Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, pantry and refrigerators.

+ Sweep or scrub floors.

+ Clean garbage cans with water or steam.

+ Must take direction well.

+ Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.

+ Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global facilities in Wichita and Andover.

+ Follow rules and regulations of Food and Beverage team.

+ Regular attendance is an essential job function.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Duties:

+ Reports to Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.

+ Follows all rules and regulations which apply to Food and Beverage.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Prior dishwashing or kitchen work in food service.

+ Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.

+ Positive attitude and neat appearance.

+ Must speak and understand English.

+ Attend all Training both for Food and Beverage department and within the venue.

Education and/or Experience:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good attitude required.

+ Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Skills and Abilities:

+ Knowledge of sanitary practices.

+ Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.

+ Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.

+ Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

+ Attention to detail.

Other Qualifications:

Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing, working with hot water, steam, bending, stooping and lifting up to 45 lbs. substantial standing and walking.
