Location/Division Specific Information
Biosciences Division, Life Science Solutions Group – Field-based, BioSciences Account Manager, Academia. Baltimore, Maryland
How will you make an impact?
In this role, you directly impact our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by providing our life science technologies to Academic and some biotech customers for use in their life sciences research, including cell biology, protein biology, molecular biology and more.
What will you do?
+ Build value by redefining life science portfolio knowledge into differentiated products and services for our customers
+ Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to deliver results
+ Achieve/surpass all assigned sales targets and quotas by proactively handling a consumable and instrument sales funnel
How will you get here?
+ Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science and four years sales experience
Role success profile:
Experience
+ 5-7 years of research and/or sales experience in a scientific-related market
+ Experience working in a matrixed environment
+ Proven ability to strategize and achieve results
Knowledge and Skills
+ Relevant scientific background
+ Relevant Academic customer and/or market knowledge
+ Computer proficiency (ex. MS Office)
+ Previous Salesforce experience a plus

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $95,000.00–$142,475.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
