About the role
As **Java Developer** , you will make an impact by developing, writing, testing, and debugging code. As well as designing and implementing new features. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.
In this role, you will:
Typical duties includes:
• Development -Writing, testing, and debugging code.
• Designing and implementing new features.
• Participating in planning meetings and technical reviews.
• Support deployment.
• Manage production issues for resolution.
**Work model:** Hybrid.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 - 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. What you need to have to be considered:
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JAVA, Spring boot, Openshift.
• Hands on Experience in Oracle DB.
• Strong hands-on experience on WMQ, AMQ.
These will help you stand out:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and compensation:
The annual salary for this position will be between $60,000 to $93,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
