**Cognizant’s Digital Engineering** practice is seeking a highly qualified **Lead Java Engineer with React** experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. **Location** : Windsor/Connecticut (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable software applications using AWS SQL React Native Spring Boot Java and JavaScript to meet business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that enhance user experience.

Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.

Implement robust security measures to protect data integrity and privacy in all software solutions.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to improve overall system performance.

Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Utilize mySQL for database management and ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

Design and implement RESTful APIs to support mobile and web applications.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

Document software designs code and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Possess at least 8+ years strong experience in AWS SQL React Native Spring Boot Java and JavaScript.

Demonstrate experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.

Have a solid understanding of database management with mySQL.

Show expertise in building scalable web applications with Spring Boot.

Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Display excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a timely manner.
