The opportunity

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a part-time Lead Bartender to join our team at Leatherby's Cafe Rouge in Costa Mesa, California. As a Lead Bartender, you will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Pay

$20.00 - $22.00 / hour

What will you do?

+ Arrives prior to bartenders to start setting up the assigned location

+ Delegating opening and closing tasks to other bartenders at assigned locations

+ Receives drink orders from servers, mixes and serves alcohol and non-alcohol drinks for guests following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled or draft beer

+ Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures

+ Enters drink orders into the cash register, collects payment from patrons for drinks served, and makes correct change

+ Completes sales and inventory reports accurately

+ Cleans and maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies

+ Works directly with the bar supervisor to order more products for the assigned location

More about you

+ Minimum 21 years of age

+ Minimum of 2 year of bartending and cocktail serving experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required; previous experience as a barista preferred

+ No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

+ Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift

+ Constant walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

+ Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs occasionally
