    Local Pay Rate: $45

     

    Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

     

    Interview Format: Virtual with Special Education Director

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a passionate Adaptive Special EducationP.E Teacher to provide physical education services for students withspecial needs across K–12 grade levels. This temporary position coversan FMLA leave and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on studenthealth and wellness.

     

    Caseload Details

     

    + 80 students district-wide

    + Responsible for goal setting and progress reports

    Key Responsibilities

    + Deliver adaptive physical education instruction tailored to individual student needs

    + Develop and monitor IEP goals related to physical education

    + Collaborate with school teams to ensure compliance and student success

    + Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting

    Qualifications

    + Valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Certification with appropriate endorsement

    + IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

    + Experience in adaptive physical education and special education preferred
