    Hospital Neuro ICU RN | December Start – Palo Alto

     

    Start Date: December 2025 | 13-Week Contract

     

    We’re seeking an experienced Neuro ICU RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Palo Alto, California. This is a hospital-based role in a high-acuity neurology/neurosurgery unit, offering the opportunity to work with complex cases and a collaborative team.

    Position Highlights

    + Location: Palo Alto, CA

    + Setting: Hospital – ICU (Neurology/Neurosurgery)

    + Start Window: December 2025

    + Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

    + Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)

    + Shift: Rotating (Days/Nights)

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)

    + Active CA RN License

    + 3+ years ICU RN experience, including 2+ years Neuro ICU

    + Familiarity with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients

    + Skilled in managing: EVDs, bolts, EEG, lumbar drains, ventilators

    + Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

    + EPIC EMR proficiency

    + Previous travel RN experience preferred

    Additional Compliance Requirements

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

    + Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

    + Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

    + Computer proficiency required
