    Administrative Assistant to the Chair

    Position Description:

    Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Support the Total Quality Management philosophy within the department.

    + Provides administrative support in the coordination and supervision of the Environmental Toxicology Program (ETGP).

    + Provide administrative support to the department chair.

    + Assist with various front office administrative duties including (but not limited to) answering phones and checking in package deliveries.

    + Work is performed under general supervision of the Department Chair with latitude for addressing associated various administrative, clerical and secretarial requirements.

    + Performs related work as required.

    + Assist with travel applications and vouchers for departmental staff.
