    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM – 2:30 PM

     

    Duration: Through June 2026

     

    Compensation: $26/hour

    About the Role

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking two Special Education Paraprofessionals to join the team at and elementary school in Winthrop. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with diverse needs in a collaborative school environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist students individually and in groups with academic, social, and behavioral needs

    + Support instruction in self-contained, resource, or general education classrooms

    + Provide help with daily living needs, including toileting, diaper changing, and hygiene

    + Transport non-ambulatory students in wheelchairs within and outside the school building

    + Assist during recess, school activities, and transitions to/from transportation vehicles

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    + ABA experience preferred (not required)

    + Minimum 1 year working in a school or similar setting

    + Minimum 1 year experience supporting students with ASD

    + Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs
