    Compensation

     

    $60–$70 per hour (DOE)

     

    Weekly pay, full-time W2 position

    Schedule & Start Date

    35 hours per week

     

    School-day schedule (no nights, weekends, or holidays)

     

    Start date: ASAP upon completion of onboarding

    About the Role

    El Monte City School District is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse with a valid California School Nurse Services Credential for the 2024–2025 school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting student health, safety, and readiness to learn in a school-based environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide direct nursing care and triage in a school health office

    + Support IEPs and implement student health plans

    + Manage chronic conditions, medication administration, and emergency responses

    + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student wellness

    + Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with California health regulations

    Requirements

    + Active California RN license

    + California School Nurse Services Credential (required)

    + Current CPR certification

    + Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
