About the Role

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced **Senior Aircraft Technician - Avionics (NHC)** to join our team in Columbus, MS. In this role, you will perform assembly, installation, repair, and replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems during manufacturing, maintenance, or refurbishing. You will also conduct functional checks to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assemble, install, repair, or replace aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.

+ Perform functional checks of components to ensure proper operation.

+ Maintain close communication with lead personnel regarding schedules, priorities, and special instructions.

+ Work from blueprints, sketches, vendor manuals, and other technical data to determine specifications.

+ Use standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment.

+ Ensure all completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

Qualifications

+ Minimum of **6 years of experience** working on avionics in aircraft (rotorcraft experience preferred).

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.

+ Knowledge of standard shop practices for fabrication and repair.

+ Current **A&P license** is a plus.

+ Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
