    The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L’Oréal USA drives sustainable value growth for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) through Price, Promotion and Mix optimization. RGM partners with brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Thayers, NYX Professional Makeup, and essie to understand market and consumer dynamics. Team members bring diverse expertise in market research, analytics, finance, and marketing, with a shared focus on implementing data-driven and business-informed decisions.

     

    Role Overview

     

    This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the tracking and performance reporting dashboards/datasets for CPD. This will be enabled by building strong relationships with Brand, Sales, and Finance teams as well as a solid technical background. Key responsibilities include:

     

    Utilize multiple data sources to develop holistic business strategies

     

    + Analyzing, collating, and summarizing syndicated data to understand market trends and competitive landscape

    + Updating key product assortment and add/delete analysis dashboards

    + Developing new visualizations and tools to empower stakeholders to make more informed decisions

     

    Identification of RGM initiatives to drive profitable growth

     

    + Own the creation and presentation of insights to senior executives

    + Develop new processes and frameworks to ingest and transform data in a more efficient and sustainable way

    + Financial modeling to ensure recommendations are beneficial to both the consumer, retailer, and L’Or é al USA

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Analytically minded with a focus on solving complex business problems through data analysis and a strong understanding of our internal business strategy

    + Able to determine the right solution and resources needed to address different questions

    + Knows how to understand how different data is generated and its potential limitations

    + A strong storyteller who can craft visualizations that are focused but thorough and is comfortable presenting to upper-level management

    + Aims to build relationships with other teams to further their knowledge and impact within the company

     

    Background & Experience

     

    + 3 – 5 years of experience working in a strategic consulting or business analytics role

    + Hands on experience working with large datasets to derive insights and make recommendations

    + Experience presenting complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership

    + In depth development experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

    + Coding experience with scripting languages (python, r, ect.)

    + Experience building tools to help streamline analysis processes

    + Educational background in Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Marketing

    + Strong skills in Microsoft office, with intermediate level excel skills (complex functions, pivot tables)

    Nice to Have:

    + Coding experience with SQL or other database query languages

    + Familiarity with cloud data systems

    + CPG industry experience with a strong working knowledge of scanner and promotional data.

    + Brand P&L experience, including financial modeling.

    + Understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
