The Facilities Technician helps keep our attraction running at its best so our guests can enjoy a seamless, memorable visit. In this role, you’ll support the upkeep of our equipment, lighting, audio-visual systems, and general building needs. If you’re someone who likes hands-on work, enjoys solving everyday challenges, and takes pride in creating a safe, smooth experience for guests, this could be the perfect fit for you! ✨

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

+ ✨ Keep all attraction equipment and machinery performing at their best.

+ ✨ Troubleshoot issues with confidence and use your hands-on skills to keep downtime to a minimum and the guest experience seamless.

+ ✨ Tackle essential handyman tasks like painting, wall repairs, basic carpentry, exhibit setup and takedown, and furniture assembly.

+ ✨ Maintain and install Audio Visual equipment that powers our immersive exhibits and interactive spaces.

+ ✨ Stay on top of preventative maintenance with daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly tasks that keep everything running safely.

+ ✨ Handle a variety of technical tasks like replacing lights, projector lamps, doors, data cables, and computer outlets.

+ ✨ Monitor building systems, identify or correct safety hazards, and ensure all work meets OSHA and PPE standards.

+ ✨ Use hand tools and power equipment confidently and safely as you complete repairs and upkeep throughout the attraction.

+ ✨ Work both independently and as part of a supportive team, taking initiative and helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment.

+ ✨ Jump in on additional projects as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Education and Experience:

+ 🎓 High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school strongly preferred).

+ 🔧 Experience with hands-on maintenance experience, ideally in attractions, entertainment, facilities, or themed environments.

+ 🛠️ Skills in general repair, painting, and Audio-Visual systems are a plus.

+ 💪 A proactive, hardworking mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

+ 🤝 Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
