Heavy Equipment Operator – Sanford Recycling & Transfer Station

• **Location:** Sanford, FL

• **Pay Range:** $18.00 – $20.00/hour (DOE)

• **Schedule:** Day Shift | Monday–Friday + Occasional Saturdays | 45–55 hrs/week

• **Weekly Pay + Time and a Half for All Hours Over 40!**

What You’ll Do:

• Operate **Excavators, Loaders, and Floater equipment** to move, spread, and level waste on the tipping floor

• Keep the site running smooth and safe for truck unloading

• Perform **pre-trip and post-trip inspections** like a pro

• Maintain a clean, organized work area

• Pitch in with site maintenance when needed

• What It Takes:

+ **Experience operating Excavators and Floater equipment** (used for spreading and leveling waste)

+ Skilled with loaders or similar heavy equipment

+ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Team player with a strong work ethic

+ Must be able to lift **50 lbs repeatedly**

+ Clean driving record preferred
