    About the Role: Compliance and Risk Summer Intern

    The Team:

    The position supports all S&P Global Ratings Compliance & Risk functions, which include Compliance, Risk & Internal Control, and Analytic Quality & Validation, and has a broad range of responsibilities. The role sits within the Compliance operations function, which is responsible for overseeing the update and development of S&P Global Ratings policies, compliance training, global compliance-related projects and presentations, and gathering data on certain global Compliance function activities.

    Responsibilities and Impact:

    + Support Compliance & Risk functions on special projects.

    + Support the Compliance Operations team with policy drafting, review and approval projects and reviews of training materials.

    + Prepare reports for Compliance & Risk senior management and assist in development of new reporting templates.

    + Assisting the wider regional Compliance & Risk effort by working on projects to improve the operations of the Department

    **Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

     

    S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

     

    This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    + Fully matriculated students with anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027

    + Strong oral, written and listening communications skills

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint

    + Excellent organization skills

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Pre-law, Business Administration, or a related field.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Right to Work Requirements:

    This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

     

    _All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week._
