    Skanska is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide excellent customer service and support for a variety of Tier 1 incidents and requests. This is a hybrid position, requiring in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. **The working hours for this role are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST.**

    The Technical Support Specialist will effectively triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and requests related to client operating systems (Windows 10, Office 365), the Microsoft Office Suite, VPN clients, network issues, identity management, various on-premise and cloud-based applications, as well as computer hardware and peripherals. This role is also responsible for dispatching, prioritizing, and categorizing incidents and requests via the ITSM platform, ServiceNow.

     

    Additionally, Technical Support Specialists may identify patterns in recurring issues and collaborate with staff to address persistent problems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for excellence, possess outstanding communication and organizational skills, and have the ability to build strong relationships over the phone.

    Technical Support Specialist Required Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM ticketing system

    + 1+ years of experience installing and configuring new technology, including hardware, operating systems, programs, or applications

    + 1+ years of experience troubleshooting iOS and Microsoft products and peripherals

    + 1+ years of experience using Windows, Exchange, and Microsoft Office 2013/2016/O365

    + 1+ years of experience using Active Directory

    + 1+ years of experience creating and managing mailboxes and distribution lists within the Microsoft Exchange Admin Center

    + 1+ years of experience with networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, LAN/WAN, and VPNs

    + Associate’s degree and/or 1+ years of experience in the technology field or in a service desk role

     

    This position's working hours will be 11:00 am-8:00pmEST.
