Certified Patient Care Technician - Medical Surgical

The Certified Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Required Qualifications:

+ Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT)

+ National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

+ National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ H.S. Diploma or GED

+ 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting.

+ 6 months of Phlebotomy experience.
