Summary This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2058000 and is part of the FL RTI, National Guard. Responsibilities As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-0346-11, you will develop, implement and evaluate the logistics and property accountability plans and policies for the organization; develop and coordinate the execution of the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs; maintain property book accountability utilizing an automated system and related computer programs to account for property; coordinate with the state level headquarters and subordinate elements of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property; establish quality control procedures and oversees the edit of all documents; analyze requirements, develop forecasts, direct re-allocation, and provide guidance for the execution of funds for all decentralized logistics resources; provide technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to logistics and property management Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. MILITARY GRADES: Officer/Warrant Officer/Enlisted: E7 thru O4 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-11 Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
