At UPMC Health Plan, we're looking for a Business Strategic Analyst (Intermediate) who thrives on solving complex problems, influencing change, and delivering insights that matter. In this role, you'll transform data into actionable solutions, lead strategic initiatives, and play a key role in implementing Workforce Management Software that optimizes operations and enhances efficiency across the organization.
What You'll Do:
+ Analyze trends, identify business challenges, and recommend strategies that improve performance and customer satisfaction.
+ Prepare, pilot, and implement new processes and solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
+ Work closely with business owners, leadership, and cross-functional teams to align goals and deliver measurable results.
+ Evaluate customer interaction data, performance metrics, and operational patterns to anticipate needs and optimize resources.
+ Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and senior leadership.
+ Design workflows, refine systems, and create best practices that support successful launches and long-term success.
+ Provide feedback to teams, assist with training materials, and partner with leadership to ensure continuous improvement.
+ You will lead the implementation of a new Workforce Management Software solution, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization. This includes:
+ Developing and executing detailed implementation plans.
+ Establishing KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
+ Creating executive-level dashboards and reports that turn workforce data into actionable insights.
+ Driving change management initiatives to support adoption and sustainability.
+ Staying ahead of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For:
+ Proven experience taking programs from concept to execution, including policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
+ Strong background in implementing enterprise software solutions for workforce monitoring or similar systems.
+ Expertise in project management-planning, organizing, and delivering on time.
+ Ability to define and track KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
+ Skilled in executive reporting and dashboard creation.
+ Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
+ Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization and compliance.
+ Familiarity with change management principles and enterprise rollouts.
+ Proficiency in workforce analytics platforms, reporting tools, and project management software.

+ Bachelor's level degree or equivalent 4 years of experience.
+ Experience in health care insurance or health care industry preferred, but those with relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
+ Relevant experience in the following areas is required: 1) market research, 2) experience using quantitative, business intelligence and/or relational database 3) manipulation of data.
+ Strong written and oral communications, detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
+ Excellent time management skills & strong attention to detail are mandatory.
+ Strong logical approach to verifying product requirements.
+ Ability to work independently and with others
