V2X is seeking Program and Project Management professionals to provide Facilities and Technical support to our government customer in the DC Metro area, with potential for worldwide travel. Candidates for these roles must be highly qualified, possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) TS-SCI level Security Clearance, and demonstrate commitment to ensuring safe, reliable, and resilient facilities as well as a superior service experience for all agency employees.
The Project Manager V (Senior Project Manager - Overseas Projects) will be responsible for advising and coordinating with the Directorate for Operations (DO) / Defense Attaché Service (DAS) Headquarters Senior Leadership and Defense Attaché Office (DAO) management officials at U.S. Embassy facilities on a full range of project related issues. Project Managers shall be proficient in developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, developing project schedules, and monitoring / reporting project status.
Performance of this contract includes worldwide travel including the USCENTCOM AOR and other locations as required for completion of tasks directly related to this scope.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
+ Coordinates and integrates daily the efforts of Information Technology (CIO), Security, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) program / contract / construction elements.
+ Works directly with design and construction companies on selected renovations and or New Embassy Compound projects with U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (DoS-OBO) to identify specific DO requirements and to plan schedules for actions needed to meet those requirements.
+ Leverages relationships with industry and other Agency partners to effectively meet joint customer and project requirements.
+ Assesses project needs and determines attributes.
+ Reviews design architectural construction drawings.
+ Coordinates reviews with OBO area managers on OBO future construction projects to ensure overlap of Defense Information Agency (DIA) projects.
+ Holds regular 60-percent and 100-percent design reviews with government and design representatives.
+ Coordinate security / design comments within the DoS-OBO and Diplomatic Security during the building permit process.
+ Identifies detrimental shortfalls to enable informed recommendations to Government personnel for future planning strategies.
+ Performs daily administrative tasking related to the accountability of DAO renovations by tracking multiple drawing sets, mailing / delivery of drawings to multiple companies; i.e. USACE and DoS.
+ Responsible for filing past and current tracking documents related to renovations and New Embassy projects where DAOs are included in the design.
+ Responsible for ARCHIBUS inputs and audit tracking of the facility program.
+ Creates official DIA / DO release cable messages / memos for each DAO Embassies renovation.
+ Tracks Embassies approval cables and messages related to all DAO renovation projects.
+ Maintain OBO ProjNet accounts.
+ Coordinates and tracks all training / country clearances / visa / security clearance requests for all personnel to include USACE and contractor travel.
+ Responsible for assigned projects from project inception through physical and financial closeout.
Qualifications
Experience / Skills:
+ At least seven (7) years of experience with programs of similar size and scope.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly desired.
+ Experience with the ICD-705 standards as well as Overseas Policy Board Standards from DoS.
+ Highly competent in reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices.
+ Familiar with renovation of existing spaces, secure shipping requirements, and typical U.S. Embassy operations.
+ Experience providing comments on drawings using systems such as Dr. Checks ProiNet or similar.
+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), MS Project, and ARCHIBUS.
+ Highly skilled in customer service and communications, both verbal and written.
