    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Virtualization Engineer. This position is for a Virtualization Engineer is currently utilizing VMware products (ESXi, vSAN, NSX, vCloud Foundations, ARIA Automation) to implement a Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) across multiple global sites. You will support engineers to develop and maintain the clients architecture. You will develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and sustainment of the VMware suite of products in the client environment. As applications are hosted on the clients solution, utilize IaC for the provisioning of the customer enclaves. You will provide daily administration of the VMware products to include patching and upgrading of all VMware components. Monitoring and utilization of all virtualization resources and notify the client lead when additional resources will be required. You should have experience harden the VMware products per commercial best practices and the required client cybersecurity controls. Salary ranging from $60-80/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Senior-level experience with the VMware suite of products (ESXi, vSAN, NSX, vCloud Foundations, ARIA Automation).

     

    Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills.

     

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack – network, storage, server, and applications.
