    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Java Developer to sit in CT, PA, or IL. You will design, develop, and implement digital solutions using Java and Spring Boot technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications, contribute to technical strategy, and ensure innovation in digital engineering projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, build, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related frameworks.

    • Develop APIs and services using REST and SOAP protocols.

    • Implement web services and messaging solutions using Spring Boot, MQ, and Kafka.

    • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

    • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

    • Lead design reviews, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

    • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across cloud and on-prem environments.

    • Support UI development using Angular or React JS.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

    • 3+ years of experience building RESTful APIs and SOAP services.

    • Experience with MQ-based integrations and batch processing.

    • Strong understanding of Agile methodology and CI/CD pipelines. • Leadership experience and ability to mentor team members.

    • Experience with Angular/React JS for UI development.

    • Cloud development experience (Azure OpenShift).

    • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, UDeploy).
