Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for evaluating current fabrication processes and developing standard procedures to support efficient modular production. This role focuses on process improvement, documentation, and coordination with engineering and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing fabrication workflows across piping, structural, and electrical disciplines.

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production guidelines.

Implement efficiency improvements in layout, logistics, and material handling.

Support quality assurance documentation and shop coordination processes.

Interface with engineering teams to align designs with fabrication constraints.

Skills and Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar field.

5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial construction environment.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, workflow optimization, and material flow planning.

Experience working in multi-discipline fabrication environments (piping, structural steel, electrical) preferred.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
