Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager in Warren, MI to lead a critical aerospace manufacturing program. This role will oversee the production of high-precision titanium components for flight applications, ensuring strict compliance with quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities:
Program Leadership: Manage all aspects of a multi-year aerospace program from planning through execution and validation phases.
Manufacturing Oversight:
• Ensure successful machining of titanium components (approx. 90% machining, some assembly).
• Coordinate mild assembly tasks and ensure adherence to aerospace standards.
Vendor & Procurement Management:
• Work closely with procurement teams to source certified vendors for machining and assembly.
• Oversee shipping and serialization of parts, ensuring full traceability for flight-critical components.
Budget & Cost Control:
• Maintain program budget for approximately 150 manufactured components and related hardware (fasteners, small widgets).
• Track costs and implement corrective actions as needed.
Compliance & Quality:
• Guarantee all parts meet aerospace and defense quality standards.
• Manage documentation and traceability throughout the lifecycle.
Schedule Management:
• Drive timelines to meet milestones, with ramp-up during validation phase mid-program.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure program success.
Compensation: $70-$75. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Experience:
• 7+ years in program management within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong background in machining processes and assembly for aerospace-grade components.
Technical Knowledge:
• Familiarity with titanium machining and aerospace manufacturing standards.
• Understanding of serialization, traceability, and flight-critical requirements.
Skills:
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and vendor management capabilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost control.
Preferred:
• Experience with battery systems (some program facets involve battery components).
• Prior work on defense or aerospace programs.
