    Job Description

    Looking for a System Subject Matter Expert (SME) and leads metering operations across:

    - Procurement (buying and managing resources)

     

    - System Integration (making sure systems work together)

     

    - Customer Support (ensuring smooth customer experience)

     

    The goal: Keep operations efficient, compliant with regulations, and deliver a seamless experience for customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Capital Portfolio Management

     

    - Oversees company's capital projects portfolio.

     

    - Support the capital budget and track federal and state permit fees.

     

    Project Coordination

    When a new project comes in:

    - Estimate costs.

     

    - Assign tasks to land agents.

     

    - Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO).

     

    Land Rights Knowledge

     

    - Understand basic land rights to guide projects effectively.

     

    Workflow Management

     

    - Act as the funnel between: Land Agents (who handle property-related tasks) & PMO Group (who manage project execution)

     

    - Decide who does what work for each project.

    Role Entails of:

    -Keep track of meter orders, deliveries, testing schedules, inventory, and vendor contacts

     

    -Work with warehouse teams to make sure meters are delivered on time and correctly

     

    -Plan and manage system tests and connect them with IT systems

     

    -Create and improve processes with help from consultants and technical experts

     

    -Watch customer messages and escalate issues with the Customer Experience team

     

    -Handle customer claims, complaints, and follow-ups for access

     

    -Help maintenance teams with AMI HES issues like lost meters or mismatches

     

    -Report on meter purchasing, delivery, and installation

    Skills and Requirements

     

    BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of 4 years relevant work experience and related college coursework in business, IT, or similar.

     

    5+ years progressively responsible experience with business operations, , business unit systems, database design, structure, and/or functions.

    Ability to:

    - Identify process improvements and gaps

     

    - Perform data analysis and recommend solutions
