Join a dynamic family office environment where flexibility and attention to detail are key. This role involves managing complex accounting operations across multiple entities, including maintaining general ledger systems, performing reconciliations, and supporting tax compliance. You’ll work with diverse financial structures—spanning bank accounts, investment portfolios, and intercompany transactions—while assisting with system transitions and year-end processes. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, you’ll contribute to special projects and provide analytical support to management, gaining exposure to legal, estate planning, and other facets of family office operations. This position offers continuous learning and growth in a collaborative setting.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger systems, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and year-end close.

• Support tax compliance by reconciling 1099s, K-1s, and trial balances; prepare supporting schedules; and review final returns in coordination with external tax preparers.

• Perform reconciliations during system transitions and ensure accuracy in interest accruals and portfolio management systems.

• Manage accounting for approximately 60 entities, 100 bank accounts, and 100 investment accounts.

• Maintain loan documentation and amortization schedules.

• Assist management with special projects and provide analyses as needed.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and demonstrate flexibility during peak periods (e.g., tax season).

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar

3-6 years of professional experience in Accounting

Strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative team player

Ability to handle confidential information

Candidate local to the area who can come into the office on occasion for team meetings, trainings, etc. • CPA designation or progress toward CPA.

• Experience with individual, partnership, and trust taxation.

• Familiarity working in a family office

• Experience with investment accounting.
