Job Summary:

Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials.

You Will Be Responsible For:

+ Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties. Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately

+ Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols

+ Maintains safe and clean working environments, ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations

+ Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist

+ Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities

+ Attends department meetings and education as required

+ As requested, perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms

+ Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager

Education and Experience Required:

+ Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

+ Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
