    When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve.

     

    As a Lead Registration Representative in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.

    The role you'll contribute:

    Oversees front office operations in an outpatient therapy clinic, ensuring efficient patient registration, scheduling, and insurance authorization processes. This role serves as a liaison between administrative staff, clinical teams, and patients, while also mentoring team members and driving process improvements. Partners with clinic manager to ensure patients are scheduled for full plan of cares and assists in maintaining center productivity by adjusting and consolidating patient schedules. This position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service, collaborates with partner departments and physician offices and maintains respectful relationships.

    + Evaluates team performance reports and motivates team members to meet clinic goals by providing encouragement, educational tools, training and facilitation of performance improvement.

    + Serve as point of escalation for process and prescription questions and complex patient or insurance issues.

    + Monitor appointment volumes and identify opportunities for efficiency.

    + Registers patients for all services, ensuring accurate patient demographics and account information and clearly explains authorizations, pre-certifications, benefit limitations and patient financial responsibility and collects patient payments.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

    + Ability to serve as hospital liaison for patient and family and to use discretion when discussing personnel/patient related issues that are confidential in nature [Required]

    + Strong multi-tasking skills; ability to assimilate and react appropriately to a variety of stimuli incoming at one time [Required]

    + Self-motivated and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment [Required]

    + Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]

    + Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

    + High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
