Applications are solicited for an individual to be appointed as a postdoctoral associate under the supervision of Prof. Paramjit Arora. The research will focus on development of ligands for targeting protein-protein interactions.
The project focuses on design and synthesis of protein mimics to target protein-protein interactions and requires expertise in computational modeling, organic synthesis, protein expression and biophysical assays to determine protein engagement.
The terms of employment, which would be a year, with a possibility of renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, this position's annual base salary range is $62,500.00 – $64,063. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Mathematics and no more than 1 year of postdoctoral training.
