    As a **CT Imaging Specialist** , you’ll be the go-to expert for creating high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You’ll be the first friendly face patients see—and the one who helps them feel at ease during their imaging journey. Some roles are eligible for a $10K sign on bonus!

     

    Penn Medicine is hiring! Whether you’re looking for a full-time gig, a weekend-only schedule, or the flexibility of per diem work, we’ve got options for you at our Philadelphia locations—Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian, and Pennsylvania Hospital!

    What You’ll Do

    + **Be the guide:** Review imaging orders, confirm patient identity, and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.

    + **Work your magic:** Operate CT scanners, troubleshoot equipment, and use proper positioning techniques to capture top-notch images.

    + **Tech mastery:** Handle contrast injectors, RIS, and PACS systems like a pro.

    + **Quality matters:** Perform QA testing and ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, TJC, DOH—you know the drill!).

    + **Team up:** Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

    + **Stay prepared:** Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and keep your workstation organized.

    + **Support patients:** Monitor their well-being before, during, and after procedures, responding calmly to emergencies when needed.

    + **Educate & collaborate:** Help train students and build strong relationships with colleagues and patients alike.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + CT certification (Required)

    + Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

    + H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

    + Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology (Required)
