Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.
As the Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the daily technical operations of the pharmacy department and supervises pharmacy technician staff. In this role, you will implement and track the effectiveness of programs, plans, and/or policies designed to enhance the quality of pharmacy services.

**Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Three (3) years of varied experience in an inpatient pharmacy.
**Preferred Qualifications:** Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). One (1) year lead or supervisory experience in an inpatient pharmacy.
