    **Job Title:** Travel TIG Welder

**Location:** Base location, St. Cloud, MN

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time | Non-Exempt

    **Travel:** 75%

**Compensation:** $33.75/hr upon successful completion of the initial training period.

Are you a skilled TIG Welder with experience in aluminum? Ready to expand your expertise and earn industry-leading certifications? At EBI, we don’t just hire welders—we train and grow future experts.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE

Join a tight-knit crew that takes pride in precision. As a Travel TIG Welder working on bus duct systems in power plants, you’ll start your day with a safety huddle, review drawings, and lock in the game plan with your team. You’ll perform high-quality TIG welds, handle fit-up with tight tolerances, and support your crew.

Every day brings something new—long shifts during outages, changing schedules, and unique plant environments that keep you sharp. You’ll work side-by-side with teammates who value communication, accountability, and doing the job right the first time. If you take ownership, stay adaptable, and love solving problems, you’ll thrive here.

Travel is a core part of the role—new sites, new challenges, and the chance to grow your skills on every project.

This role does include TIG welding, but a large part of the work is technical: measuring, fit-up, assembly, troubleshooting, and supporting the crew inside the bus duct system. If you enjoy a mix of welding and hands-on mechanical work—not just burning rod all day—you’ll really like this job.
