    Position Summary

    As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will achieve assigned Quality objectives which lead to improving global customer/consumer value in our products and processes, supporting marketable cost/performance advantages providing support to various teams in developing and integrating Quality Systems tools & processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and support Quality initiatives and projects throughout the Global Product Supply (GPS) team

    + Gain in-depth knowledge of Quality Systems; manage, monitor, identify system-level gaps, improve, evaluate, compare, and recommend new QMS or supplier quality applications

    + Keep abreast of external development of new Quality tools, innovations, and approaches to propose applications to assigned tasks

    + Develop written action plans and provide regular written documentation and oral presentations, assessing and recording the progress of the work

    + Develop and manage training materials and other documentation as needed

    + Develop and maintain good working relationships with cross-functional colleagues as well as external suppliers to leverage information and services necessary to meet assigned objectives

    + Guide, support and participate in problem-solving, data analysis, managing supplier quality and quality management systems

    + Business process owner and point of contact for systems within the Global Quality team

    + Identify and implement ways to automate routine quality system tasks and reporting

    + Participate in internal and external audit teams

    What we are looking for

    + Minimum 5 years in Quality or Quality Systems role within a Manufacturing, Warehouse or Retail environment

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or related field

    + Strong analytical skills to assess inefficiencies and propose streamlined solutions

    + Experience applying quality problem-solving techniques (such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, K-T, 8-D) and task management

    + Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with IT, procurement, supplier management, and other partners

    What we prefer

    + Experience with QMS platforms and tools such as MasterControl/document control, GSQA, Smartsheets or custom-built quality systems

    + Quality auditing in a manufacturing environment, supplier quality management, MS Office applications (esp. Excel and PowerPoint)

    + Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

    + Application of statistical process control systems and interpretation of such information

    + Familiarity with quality management system principles (ISO-9001 or other commonly used system)

    + Experience with supplier quality management processes and systems

    + Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with QMS tools

    + Progressive accountabilities and relevant experience with consumer goods and high-speed manufacturing

    + Quality and process optimization certifications (Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent)

    + Internal or external auditor certification

    Total Rewards Package

     

    The salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00/Yr. - USD $125,000.00/Yr.

     

    Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
