Overview
We’re seeking an Art Director to help bring warmth, wit, and storytelling to the life insurance category. This role is ideal for a conceptual thinker with a strong design eye and a deep understanding of social-first creative.
Responsibilities
+ Conceptualize life insurance in a fresh, engaging way that resonates emotionally and visually.
+ Lead visual development of social-first campaigns, with a focus on creator content and motion graphics.
+ Collaborate with a copywriter, two ACDs, creators, and social strategists to develop cohesive, platform-native ideas.
+ Create social assets more frequently than traditional TV spots; TV work will primarily use existing or stock footage.
+ Stay on top of social trends, pop culture, and best practices, especially for creator shoots and influencer-led content.
+ Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
+ Present ideas to internal teams and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or related field.
+ 3–5 years of experience in art direction or design, preferably in an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
+ Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and high-quality design across social, digital, and broadcast.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant tools.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams including strategists, creators, and copywriters.
+ Understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
+ Knowledge of regulated industries (e.g., insurance, banking, telco) is a plus, but not required.
+ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation Range: $50/hr - $60/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
