• Data Protection Engineer

    Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Data Protection Engineer with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Washington, DC. _This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    + Provide technical expertise to actively manage, track, execute, coordinate, and report all tasks pertaining to the Data Protection environment

    + Design, implement and maintain data protection solutions and respond to service requests in a timely manner.

    + Effectively collaborate with members of other engineering teams in a timely manner.

    + Communicate professionally with all stakeholders.

    Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + The applicant must have 5-10 years of demonstrated experience working with enterprise data protection and recovery solutions.

    + Demonstrated experience with EMC Avamar data protection.

    + Demonstrated experience with major operating systems, including Windows.

    + Demonstrated experience with storage systems, database management systems and security.

    + Knowledge of EMC Dell Data Domain preferred.

    + Knowledge of Commvault data protection preferred.

    + Experience with EMC RP4VM and vRPA preferred.

    + Understanding of enterprise services to include firewalls, IDS. /IPS, networks, and endpoint security preferred.

    + Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + TS/SCI DOD Security Clearance Required
