What You'll Do
The **Executive Travel Consultant** orchestrates and delivers domestic and international travel for the Executive Management Group and Board of Directors, ensuring seamless, efficient, and anticipatory service for all their travel needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role goes beyond booking arrangements and shapes travel strategies, recommend best practices, ensures alignment with corporate policies, and proactively manages logistics in partnership with the assistants, hangar staff, and pilots. With deep expertise in global travel coordination, visa and regulatory requirements, and vendor management, the Executive Travel Consultant delivers flawless end-to-end travel experiences that balance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness while proactively monitoring emerging travel trends and executive preferences.
+ Deliver on all aspects of domestic and international travel for executives, including commercial flights, ground transportation, and other accommodations. Navigate travel requirements such as passports, visas, vaccinations, ETAs, Global Entry, and TSA Pre-Check. Provide real-time support by anticipating and resolving travel disruptions, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness beyond standard business hours. Ensure all travel complies with corporate policies while accommodating executive preferences and business needs. Collaborate closely with executive assistants and Global Security to ensure seamless coordination, safety, and risk management. Serve as the primary liaison between executives, assistants, and the travel management company to ensure a high-touch, anticipatory travel experience.
+ Deliver on all aspects of executive and Board of Directors travel using the corporate aircrafts. Partner closely with the Principal Hangar team and pilots to confirm flight schedules, passenger manifests, catering, ground transportation, and special travel requests. Serve as the EMG/assistant’s primary point of contact for corporate jet travel logistics, providing real-time communication and problem-solving support. Maintain a consistent on-site presence at the hangar 1-2 days per week or as determined necessary to strengthen collaboration, ensure operational readiness, and deliver a seamless, high-touch travel experience aligned with executive expectations and company standards.
+ Stay current on industry trends, emerging travel technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the executive travel program. Support enterprise travel-related projects, including vendor evaluations, policy reviews, and risk assessments, as needed, to ensure travel operations remain efficient, safe, and aligned with corporate objectives for our executives. Provide insights and recommendations that improve processes, elevate service quality, and strengthen the overall executive travel experience.
Who You Are
+ 6+ years’ experience working in the travel business, hospitality, travel management or equivalent, such as a travel coordinator, travel specialist, travel agent or similar related role.
+ Experience with high-level executive support.
+ Experience with visa and passport application processing.
+ Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel requirements, including routing, fares and pricing, multi-destination trips, available resources and travel documentation requirements.
+ Understanding and expertise in international offerings, including airport lounges, day rooms, local currency, local customs, and other resources available.
+ Excellent time management, problem solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
+ Good relationship building and experience working with VIP travelers.
+ Must have the ability to provide after-hours support to executive travelers, as needed.
+ Knowledge and proficiency in travel booking platforms (e.g., Navan) and Microsoft Office Suite. Quickly master internal corporate jet scheduling system.
+ Ability to manage multi-leg itineraries across multiple time zones.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$34.25 - $46.13 / hour
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

This opportunity will be located at our Des Moines, IA office location, working in a more agile environment, offering some hybrid flexiblity. You’ll work with your leader to figure out the kind of schedule that will best align based on several factors.
