We're in the midst of the biggest change the automotive industry has ever seen. Just as cars changed the world over the last century, new technologies such as self-driving cars, electric powertrains, and connected vehicles will radically reshape how we live, work, and play in the next hundred years. As a member of the Experience Design (XD) Team, you'll be at the heart of creating that future. Every day, Ford's vehicles, and services support millions of people around the world. You'll craft every touchpoint our customers encounter, designing people and society's needs into the heart of our next generation of out-of-vehicle products, services, and experiences.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner with 2-4 years of experience to join our Tech Modernization team. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between business needs and technical execution, focusing on modernizing critical systems and applications. You will be instrumental in defining, prioritizing, and delivering features that drive our technological evolution, ensuring maximum value delivery and a seamless transition to future-state architectures. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
What you'll do...
+ Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the FSR+ platform and tech modernization effort.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize the product features and enhancements.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise in enhancing digital products.
+ Translate the product roadmap and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable features with robust acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
+ Conduct regular testing and lead the demo sessions, and will be responsible for accepting completed user stories.
+ Work closely with UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of design requirements.
+ Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
+ Ensure that all development work meets the business objectives and quality standards before being released.
+ Familiarity with using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in day-to-day execution to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
+ Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their application in a product development lifecycle.
+ Proficiency with product management and backlog tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of product definition and delivery.
+ Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in cross-functional environments, fostering collaboration and achieving common goals.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and requirements.
Even better, you may have...
+ CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or other relevant Agile certifications.
+ Understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.
+ Experience within the automotive industry or other large-scale enterprise environments.
+ Experience in documenting & tracking OKR.
