• Solutions Architect - Azure

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions. This role spans networking, security, API management, DevOps, Terraform, databases, front-end architecture, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate combines deep Azure expertise with hands-on experience in Python, Node.js, React, and C#/.NET, and understands the complexities of logistics, supply chain/distribution systems, multiple ERPs, EDI, payment processing, and middleware integration.

    _Responsibilities:_

    + End-to-End Architecture: Own solution design across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers for Azure workloads.

    + Networking & Security: Design secure Azure network topologies (VNets, NSGs, Private Link), implement firewalls (Azure Firewall/WAF), and enforce zero-trust principles.

    + API Management: Define API strategy using Azure APIM, including policies, versioning, and secure exposure of services.

    + Infrastructure as Code: Implement Terraform modules, pipelines, and policy-as-code for scalable deployments.

    + DevOps & CI/CD: Build and optimize pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; manage secrets and release strategies.

    + Database Design: Architect solutions using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and storage services with performance and resilience in mind.

    + Front-End Architecture: Guide React/Node.js SPA/SSR patterns, API integration, and authentication flows.

    + Enterprise Integration: Design and implement integrations across multiple ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.), enable EDI workflows for order management, invoicing, and shipping, integrate payment processors securely and ensure PCI compliance, leverage middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services) for robust, scalable integrations.

    + Supply Chain & Logistics Expertise: Understand distribution workflows, inventory management, and fulfillment processes to design solutions aligned with business operations.

    + Governance & Compliance: Apply Azure Policy, RBAC, tagging standards, and security best practices.

    + Documentation & Mentorship: Produce architecture diagrams, ADRs, and mentor engineering teams on best practices.

    _Requirements:_

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent required

    + Bachelor's degree in information technology or related area of study

    + 8+ years in software/cloud engineering, including 5+ years designing on Microsoft Azure.

    + Proven experience with Azure networking, security, APIM, Terraform, CI/CD.

    + Enterprise integrations: ERP systems, EDI, payment gateways, middleware.

    + Supply chain/logistics domain knowledge.

    + Proficient in Python, Node.js, React, and C#/.NET.

    + Strong understanding of integration patterns (event-driven, pub/sub, microservices).

    _Preferred skills:_

    + Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, Logic Apps, or similar middleware.

    + Knowledge of FinOps, cost optimization, and observability (App Insights, Log Analytics).

    + Certifications: AZ-305, AZ-400, Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD.
