    Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full\-time

     

    Manufacturing Engineer for the F\-16 team\.

    Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages

    of a platform’s program lifecycle\. The Manufacturing

     

    Engineering \(ME\) discipline is consulted and

    responsible for manufacturing plan development, full rate production standup and support, and post\-delivery

    sustainment and modification activities\. MEs are

     

    integral at every program stage for efficient and

     

    effective aircraft production\.

     

    This position will be embedded in detailed

    manufacturing plans, concepts, corrective action,

    processes, and procedures\. The day\-to\-day tasking will

     

    include working with shop floor personnel, design

     

    engineering, quality engineering, industrial

     

    engineering, and other engineering disciplines to

     

    support production of our various platforms\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree, experience considered in lieu of a degree\.

     

    Previous manufacturing/operations experience

     

    Experience interpreting structural and systems engineering

     

    drawings

     

    Experience with Computer Aided Design \(CAD\) modeling

     

    Prior experience working corrective action and process

     

    improvements

    Desired Skills:

    STEM Bachelor's Degree

     

    Demonstrated effective communication skills including

     

    verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations

     

    Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve

     

    technical/process issues varying from basic to very

     

    complex

     

    Ability to work independently as well as within a team

     

    environment

     

    Strong project/time management skills

     

    Self\-motivated, performs work with the general

     

    direction

     

    Ability to effectively communicate technical information

     

    to non\-technical personnel

     

    Background and working knowledge of tool design and

     

    tooling issues

     

    Ability to independently determine and develop

    approach to solutions

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
