Job Description:
Position: Surgical Technologist
Shift: Days (M-F)
An early acceptance incentive of $4000 awaits qualified new graduate Surgical Technologist candidates
+ Candidates are encouraged to apply at least 6 weeks before their graduation date; however, some exceptions may be made based on program needs and timing.
+ Offer letters should be signed within 1 week of receipt.
+ The incentive is paid in full in your first paycheck as a Surgical Technologist.
What You'll Do:
+ Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.
+ Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
+ Passes instruments to the physician during surgery. Continually accounts for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
+ Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
What You Bring:
+ Education: Completion of an accredited post-secondary Surgical Technology program. New Graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
+ Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
+ Clinical Skills & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality patient care, work collaboratively within a surgical team, and provide exceptional customer service.
+ Commitment to Excellence: A dedication to maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism, contributing to a positive, supportive surgical environment.
+ Professional Growth: Interest in ongoing learning and staying current with advances in surgical technology, techniques, and best practices.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS): Required within 6 months of hire.
