The **Director, Global Cybersecurity Operations** reports directly to the Vice President, Cybersecurity. This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight of the 24x7x365 Cybersecurity Operations Center and response functions supporting Travel+Leisure and its affiliated Business Units, as well as driving growth and innovation within the Cybersecurity program. This person will be responsible for managing and working with multiple global IT staff, delivering on-time and within budget results for complex cross-functional projects and customer support needs, developing standards and influencing senior management as well as peers on strategy, and establishment of performance metrics and tools to measure effectiveness and optimize service delivery for the Cybersecurity team.
The person in this leadership position will work collaboratively with key internal groups including engineering/development, product management, security professionals, and enterprise customer(s) to ensure production of high quality services that continue to exceed customer expectations, thereby driving a world-class Advanced Cybersecurity Operations Program. The ability to lead and support customers and partners from a Security Event and Threat perspective in a manner that demonstrates preparedness and responsiveness is a must.
How You'll Shine:
+ Lead, mentor and manage the activities of subordinate Managers, Vendor and individual contributors for a large global security services 24x7x365 Cybersecurity Event Center team.
+ Enterprise Globally. Lead Team with commonly used incident response tools, logging, and SIEM technologies. Responsible for employee performance management, as well as establishing and executing against actionable and measurable team goals.
+ Develop a tiered model to provide alerting, advanced analytics, hunting and visualization capabilities 24/7 to address the relevant threats to the enterprise.
+ Research, develop, and keep abreast of tools, techniques, and process improvements in support of security detection and analysis in accordance with current and emerging threat and attack vectors.
+ Take threat models and apply effective cybersecurity monitoring strategies.
+ Advanced understanding and ability to develop indicators of compromise (IOCs) and to identify and instruct others in how to implement the appropriate levels of logging and correlation to identify relevant threats.
+ Partner with engineering teams to deliver seamless service and analytical services to organizations within Travel+Leisure.
+ Directs activities and creates programs associated with detecting and discovering hidden and persistent cyber threats
+ Develop a qualitative and quantitative analysis program for cyber threat & intelligence data gathering to identify threat actors' motives, targets, and intentions.
+ Maintain, develop, and continuously evaluate cyber threat intelligence sources (technical & non-technical) to increase effectiveness cyber threat information.
+ As the complexity in number/type of systems that need to be monitored grows, effectively lead the team in growing and enhancing the capabilities to collect and correlate logs.
+ Establishes and assures adherence to schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
+ Collaborate with and influence peer teams to deliver enterprise quality solutions as well as drive best practices and standards. Creates and maintains best practices, standards and procedures to meet operational objectives.
+ Overall responsibility for Cybersecurity activities driving a high-quality customer experience which translates to world class Security Services Delivery.
+ Provide input to and own oversight of departmental expenditures within established budgets.
+ Interface with key stakeholders in Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to ensure completion of necessary or customer required support projects on-time.
+ Ability to work with senior management to influence the operations and business direction of the customer support organization. Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several customer-oriented projects.
+ Ensures services provided to customer(s) for network security implement protection, goals and initiatives to meet and align with legal and regulatory requirements.
+ Work on projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, operational excellence, as well as an understanding of how the company operates. Leads special projects as required, often involving coordination of a cross-functional team.
+ Assesses existing operational capabilities, identifies process/program improvement opportunities, designs and recommends improvements for approval to implement.
+ Participates as required during oversight activities by outside regulators, auditors, and others as appropriate
What You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, or equivalent prior work experience in a related field
+ Strong ability to set goals and measures for organizational performance
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with business partners
+ Strong analytical skills (i.e., technical and non-technical problem-solving skills
+ 5 to 7 years of experience in relevant technologies, endpoint monitoring, and data loss prevention
+ 5 years management experience of teams involved in the handling of cybersecurity events
+ Solid risk management experience in technology, information security, and incident management.
