    THE WORK

    As a key member of our NC Programming team, you will:

    • Develop NC programs for complex aircraft components machined on 4 and 5 axis CNC machines conforming to engineering model tolerance requirements\.

    • Analyze engineering models to define part configuration through manufacturing process and determine type and sequence of machining operations\.

    • Make proper cutter selections for each machining operation with knowledge of proper machining methods specific to titanium, aluminum, and magnesium\.

    • Select NC Program options to provide the most efficient machining methods and requirements for each part operation\.

    • Test and modify existing NC programs for engineering changes or program improvements\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Model based NC Programming experience

    • Toolpath verification software experience

    • Machining Experience

    • Microsoft Office products experience

    • Bachelor’s degree

    Desired Skills:

    • 2 or more years NC Programming experience

    • Catia V5 NC experience

    • Vericut toolpath verification software experience

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
