Job Description
Technical Product Managers at U.S. Bank oversee the strategic product management for an assigned technical product line(s) in support of the Enterprise organization’s goals and market needs. Engages with key stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize features; ensures delivery of marketable capabilities for all U.S. Bank engineering teams while collaborating with agile teams.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will:
+ Align the strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape outcome-based product roadmap, product risk, investment areas and success measures.
+ Partner closely with the business line(s) and Agile teams to drive the evolution of the Fraud Products. Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy. Acts as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand vision for the products. Work closely in a hands-on style with development team, including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis. Coordinates and drives discussions with stakeholders, development teams and project teams to identify and align dependencies while setting release dates to maximize value, while understanding tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization. Employs product management practices and tactics including customer research, data and analytics, and market research as applicable for internal customer facing products and capabilities.
+ Understand tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicate this information to the organization
+ Drive product development with ownership of backlog and actively engages cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market.
+ Manage across Enterprise users to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., outcomes, customer experience, etc.).
+ Own all engagement for assigned technical portfolio regarding the SDLC, e.g., adoption, collaboration.
+ Advocate for reusability of capabilities to drive cost-effective scale and speed to market
+ Develop, analyze, monitor, and report on performance metrics from internal and external sources to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Use performance metrics to drive towards progress on identified strategies and initiatives. Continuously measures actual results against target NSM to manage performance and drive progress against product vision and strategy
+ Leverage OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive roadmap priorities
Basic Qualifications
-Technical Product Management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
-Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, key performance indicators design systems, service blueprints, and reusability
- Understanding of the economics of technical investments
-Demonstrates deep understanding of target customer through internal/external research (e.g., creation of personas, story maps, product chartering/mapping experience)
-Strong collaboration with software engineers to execute product vision and roadmap
-Preferred skills: product strategy, vision and planning, product discovery, product development, agile ways of working, enterprise technical alignment and performance measurement and optimization
- Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, key performance indicators, design systems, service blueprints, and reusability
- Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products
_**The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.**_

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $94,010.00 - $110,600.00
