Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic who is equally comfortable diagnosing mechanical issues on fleet vehicles and equipment as they are jumping in to support general facility maintenance tasks.
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who:
+ Has hands-on experience with vehicle, small engine, or equipment repair
+ Can handle routine maintenance on forklifts, trucks, generators, and shop machinery
+ Is willing to assist with building, electrical, plumbing, and shop projects during downtime
+ Enjoys variety, problem solving, and keeping operations running smoothly

This position is best suited for someone who is a mechanic at their core , but who also values variety and is comfortable stepping into general maintenance tasks when needed. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our shop, vehicles, and facilities running at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Primary – Mechanical / Fleet & Equipment
+ Diagnose, repair, and maintain company fleet vehicles, forklifts, small engines, generators, and shop equipment
+ Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and inspections
+ Conduct test drives and functional tests to verify quality of repairs
+ Prioritize work orders and minimize downtime
+ Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas
+ Track and document repairs and maintenance performed
Secondary – General Facilities Maintenance
+ Assist with shop and building projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and light fabrication
+ Perform small tool repair and welder maintenance
+ Support general facility upkeep as assigned
+ Assist with parts runs and pick-ups when needed
Qualifications
+ 2+ years mechanical maintenance experience or completion of a technical/trade school program
+ Experience working on vehicles, forklifts, small engines, or similar equipment
+ Experience as a welder may be beneficial but not required
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
+ Ability to pass background check and drug screen (including Motor Vehicle Report and Marijuana as a disqualifier)
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work outside, and stand for extended periods
+ Basic understanding of electrical, building, and mechanical systems
+ Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
+ Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication
Skills & Abilities
+ Strong mechanical aptitude with a “diagnose and solve” mindset
+ Ability to juggle multiple priorities and shift between mechanic and general maintenance tasks
+ Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic
+ Dependable, organized, and self-directed
+ Clear communication and ability to work well with a team
Schedule
Monday - Friday
5 am - 3 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch
Occasional half days on Friday (depending on need and department)
Occasional Saturday shifts for special projects unable to be completed while the facility is in production.
Compensation & Benefits
+ $23-26 an hour/doe
