    Position Overview:

    Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer with experience in Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems to support the sustained operation and maintenance of a DoD Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) system. The position will support operational integrity of the system and its full lifecycle, requiring both technical expertise and a commitment to excellence in customer service.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Ensure Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert Management (IAVM), Communications Task Orders (CTOs), STIG compliance and reporting for DoD systems.

    + Maintain compliance with IAVM mandated timeframes associated with the system.

    + Identify cyber security requirements prior to customer migration within the DoD environment.

    + Support customer initiated DADMS and DITPR-DoD additions and renewals as needed.

    + Maintain security compliance for network applications and software, including responding to all IAVMs, EXORS, OPORDs, and CTOs for infrastructure and tracking of patches in a DoD enterprise environment.

    + Maintain compliance with IAVM mandated timeframes associated with the system.

    + Provide support to respond to cyber security and system Data Calls within the DoD framework.

    + Create, manage, and maintain system security artifacts and corrective action plans to mitigate security findings.

    + Support customer needs to maintain packages in eMASS for DoD systems.

    + Assist the customer when required with the creation of RMF required documentation, such as External Connection requirements, IT Interconnection Agreements, Security Memorandums of Agreement, Security Memorandums of Record, Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Analysis, POAMs and IAVM program support and guidance for DoD networks.

    + Track all new STIG releases along with their deltas and participate in STIG implementation within the DoD environment.

    + Assist the customer when required with IAVM requirements reporting for DoD systems.

    + Support security/IA requirements definition by identifying security controls to be put in place for systems and networks within the DoD environment. Recommend processes for maintaining and enforcing security/Information Assurance for identified systems and networks in support of security engineering for DoD networks. Document the A&A requirements and processes in support of security engineering for DoD systems.

    + Execute and provide security scans in compliance with DoD standard timeframes for systems within DoD networks.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + U.S. citizenship

    + 4+ years experience supporting an IT environment in a cyber, system administration, engineering or management capacity within the DoD context. Four years of additional experience can be considered in lieu of the degree.

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    + Experience with DoD's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include at least two years performing DoD A&A responsibilities including policy implementation, IAVM, CTOs, DADMS, and DITPR within the DoD context

    + Knowledge base in Information Security / Information Assurance / Cybersecurity analysis supporting systems, networks, applications, and cross-domain solutions within the DoD environment

    + Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Cisco

    + Required Certifications: CISSP or equivalent certification

    + Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance

    + Ability to travel within the United States < 15% of the time

    + Must be willing to work on site 5 days per week

    + The ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
