Job Summary and Responsibilities
An Advanced Practice Provider assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. In addition:
**A Nurse Practitioner** assumes responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis and works with MD partners to assure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal plan of care. Performs advanced practice procedures. Utilizes the nursing process to promote/restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
**A Physician Assistant** assumes responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support and education to patients and their families
through all aspects of their medical care process. Participates as a key member of the team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Utilizes a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the care of the patient/family serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher. Maintains responsibility for job performance specifications.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
+ 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting, preferred
+ Master’s degree in nursing as Nurse Practitioner
+ Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty required.
+ RN License required
+ BLS from the American Heart Association required
+ ACLS from the American Heart Association required
+ Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan
Physician Assistant Requirements:
+ Two years prior experience in surgery (if applicable)
+ Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
+ PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado required
+ BLS from the American Heart Association required
+ ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range
$77.17 /hour
