Our client, a leading healthcare provider specializing in outpatient dialysis services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join their team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting patient well-being and ensuring high-quality care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety, aligning successfully with the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare experiences.

**Job Title:** Patient Care Tech $24/hour (Dialysis Experience Required)

**Location:** Morgantown, WV

**Pay Range:** Based on work history & dialysis experience

**Shift:** Mon-Fri, Hours Per Shift: 8

**Requirements:** Must have CCHT or BONENT state certification + 1 year of Dialysis Patient Care Technician experience in the last 2 years is required*

What's the Job?

+ Provide direct, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support treatment plans.

+ Accurately document patient information related to treatment and assessments.

+ Assist licensed nurses with pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation.

+ Monitor and record dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets to ensure optimal care.

+ Respond promptly to emergency situations, including initiating basic CPR when necessary, and assist with emergency operational procedures.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

+ Previous experience in patient care within a hospital or related healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

+ Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.

+ CPR certification is required.

+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
