**Job Title:** Director, Architecture
**Locations preferred:** Denver, Colorado - Mesa, AZ - Sterling, VA
**Pay Range:** $185,000 - $220,000
Our client, a leading provider of digital infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Director, Architecture to join their team. As a Director, Architecture, you will be part of the Infrastructure Engineering department supporting the design and development of hyperscale data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, and technical excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
+ Lead the entire CSA (Critical Systems Architecture) design lifecycle from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring alignment with performance standards and sustainability objectives.
+ Collaborate with construction and operations teams to develop cost-efficient, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
+ Drive the creation and maintenance of engineering standards, including Basis of Design, to ensure consistency across projects.
+ Oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and management for CSA equipment and systems.
+ Serve as a technical expert in client engagements, providing site walkthroughs, proposal development, and customized solution presentations.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural or Civil Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
+ 10+ years of experience in data center architecture or a related field, with a strong understanding of North American construction practices and engineering market dynamics.
+ Licensed Architect or PE certification preferred.
+ Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams and external partners.
