As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking** in **Jacksonville, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with clients and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and/or potential threats within the financial institution environment.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel when necessary.

+ Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Have access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Have customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
